Metrosphere Creative Director

Metrosphere, an arts, literature, and cultural magazine, is part of MetMedia, the student driven multimedia news platform of MSU Denver. My position as Creative Director of Metrosphere works directly with the Editor in Chief and Art Director on cultivating the visual aesthetic and design of the current magazine issue. Alongside the Art Director and designers, I work on all stages of the design and production of the current issue, ensuring visual aesthetics are consistent between spreads and necessary changes are met. Communication with various individuals in the Metrosphere team are continuously ensured to keep everything up to date to, while curating and managing content for social media accounts are continuously managed.

Art Department Studio Monitor

Responsible to assist students during open studio in the Art Department. I was assigned to keep an eye on students using the workshop, in case they needed assistance or if anything happened. Keeping track of backstock of art supplies was also one of my tasks, while maintaining a clean & welcoming environment overall.

Responsible to greet & assist customers, both in-store and over the phone, while resolving customer inquiries efficiently in a timely manner. I was also responsible to assist fellow team members when needed, operate the cash register and complete all transactions in a secure manner, maintain merchandise stock, and keeping the operating floors clean.
