Intro
Metrosphere Issue 43, the arts, literature, and culture magazine of MSU Denver, follows an open theme for its two volumes, and curates art & literature submissions from students and alumni. With the first issue loosely exhibiting visual aesthetics of Bauhaus, and the second issue reflecting a unique blend of Brutalism and Biomimicry, both volumes of Issue 43 show the creative mindset of MSU students. It also captures the importance of identity students have of themselves to the world.
Metrosphere

Project Process
Each submission voted into the magazine within these volumes were assigned to different members Metrosphere team during the production timeframe; writers overlooking the copies of any literature, while designers focused on visuals and formatting. The designers and volunteers explored design methods to reflect the determined visual aesthetic of the volume. while including their own creative freedom for the piece. The spreads assigned to me show illustrative elements of a scene that connects back to the submission copy, and keeping within visual theme of the current magazine volume.
